Welcome To Zimbali Lodge & Country Club, Kwazulu Natal
Zimbali Lodge is one of Southern Africa's most exclusive hideaways, set within the serene confines of a coastal forest reserve on the north coast of Kwa Zulu Natal - a natural sub-tropical paradise and home to mischievous dolphins and a myriad of sea and bird life.
The hotel overlooks the incredible Indian Ocean and is surrounded by lush vegetation and beautiful indigenous gardens.
Overview
There is an illusory stillness as you enter Zimbali Estate due to the tranquil temperament of this coastal forest. Deceptive, as antelope graze amidst the forest and magnificent butterflies flutter as they suckle on lush hibiscus leaves, prolific bird-life and a thumping wedge shot from the surrounding golf course, can all be heard, but it's subliminal and does not mar the gentle ebb and flow of the Estate.
An ideal retreat when it comes to getting-away-from-it-all and relaxing. Zimbali Lodge and Country Club is located in a coastal forest surrounded by a championship 18-hole golf course and naturally occurring lakes and wetlands.
The Lodge is a 5-Star boutique hotel and all the guest rooms offer five-star luxury accommodation, designed to complement the natural surrounding forest and to reinforce the charm of African Classical architecture.
The service emphasis is personal care and attention - Butlers are on hand to attend to the guest's every need. The cuisine is sublime and only the freshest ingredients are used. The exclusive Health Spa offers a refreshing therapy of its own kind with its range of holistic treatments.
Zimbali Lodge is an idyllic location for small and intimate conferences. The facilities are well appointed and equipped and the Tom Weiskopf designed 18-hole golf course offers a challenge of its own.
